Pokémon is one of the most famous franchises of all time. It has a beloved anime, a gaming craze, and some of the cutest merchandise, like Funko Pop Vinyls and plushies.

There are entries in the Pokédex for more than 900 Pokémon from (soon to be) nine versions of games.

Out of those, there are 18 different types of Pokémon, ranging from Fire and Ice to Ghost and Psychic.

Each type has its own strengths and flaws. Since the first game came out in 1996, fans have chosen their favorite Pokémon based on how they make them feel, what they can do, or how they look.

From the most famous Pokémon, Pikachu, to the fan favorite, Eevee, here are some Cutest Pokémon that are so cute you’ll never want them to grow up!

15. Phanpy

Cutest Pokémon

Elephants are one of the most beautiful animals in the world, and when they’re young, they’re also one of the cutest.

So it’s no wonder that a Pokemon based on a baby elephant is on this list.

Phanpy is the cutest pet because it is a soft pastel blue color and has big, flappy ears that it uses to cool itself.

14. Tepig

Tepig 1

Tepig is a Fire-type Pokémon that looks like a piglet. It can be chosen as a starting in both Pokémon Black and Pokémon White.

Tepig evolves into Pignite at level 17 and Emboar at level 36. Both of these changes make Tepig a dual-type Fire/Fighting Pokémon.

Tepig has a round shape and is a bright red-orange color. His ears, eyes, and feet are all brown. It has a curly tail with a red ball at the end that lights up when it uses fire strikes.

In battle, Bug, Fairy, Steel, Fire, Grass, and Ice-type moves don’t work well on Tepig. On the other hand, Ground, Rock, and Water-type moves hurt it a lot.

13. Sobble

Sobble

Before Pokemon Sword and Shield came out, the Galar region starters were shown off.

Sobble, the ultimate sad boy, stood out to fans of all things cute.

Sobble is a Water-type Pokemon that always cries when it’s scared.

Everyone wants to give it a hug, if they can find it, because it also becomes invisible when it gets wet.

12. Sprigatito

Sprigatito 1

Sprigatito is a grass-type Pokémon that can be chosen as a starting in the new Pokémon Scarlet and Violet games.

Sprigatito looks like a fluffy, light-green cat. Its pointed ears are a brighter shade of green, and its chest and face are shaped like a green leaf.

With the Overgrow ability, Sprigatito can make all of their green moves stronger when their HP is low.

Sprigatito is a Grass-type Pokémon, so it does well against Water, Rock, and Ground Pokémon, but not so well against Ice, Flying, Poison, and Fire Pokémon.

11. Togedemaru

Togedemaru 1

Togedemaru’s high ranking on this list shouldn’t come as a surprise, since it is known as the “Roly-Poly Pokemon.”

It’s pretty much an exciting ball with tiny feet, even smaller hands, and marks that look like Pikachu.

Just don’t make it mad, or those spikes on its back will come after you.

10. Yamper

Yamper

There are a lot of notable dog Pokémon in the Pokémon world, but Yamper is one of the cutest.

Yamper is a pure Electric-type Pokémon that was introduced in Generation VIII. For a first-stage Pokémon, it has very strong stats and a powerful evolution.

Yamper is one of the many Pokémon that would make a great mascot. It was clearly modeled after Queen Elizabeth’s favorite Corgis.

Boltund, his cool and loyal sparkly dog, might lose some of Yamper’s cuteness when it evolves into it, but Trainers can always choose not to evolve their Yamper and keep it in its cute and fun early stage, which is what makes it one of the cutest Pokémon.

9. Mew

Mew 1

The second Mythic on our list is the cute Mew, which has been a favorite of longtime Pokemon fans since Gen 1.

Legend says that Mew has the DNA of every single Pokemon in its body, and its big eyes, cute sounds, and playful attitude show that it chose the cute Pokemon.

Most Psychic-types are creepy in some way, but this famous creature isn’t one of them.

8. Shaymin

Shaymin 1

Most of the Legendary Pokémon look cool and strong. On the other hand, most Mythical Pokémon are smaller and cuter, and Shaymin is a great example of this.

Shaymin is a Mythical debuted in Generation IV. It looks like a dog and is a pure Grass type, but it can also change into a Grass/Flying type by using a Gracidea Flower.

Shaymin is one of the cutest Pokémon. It has a small, round body and a cute face.

Its cuteness is upped a lot by the pink flowers on its face and the green mane on its back, making it one of, if not the cutest Grass-type in the series.

Shaymin is one of the hardest-to-find Pokémon in the main series games, so Trainers who have it should feel very happy.

7. Pikachu

Pikachu

Pikachu has become one of the most well-known animals in the world for a reason.

It’s just so sweet!

Pikachu is one of the cutest Pokemon of all time.

This is true whether it’s with Ash in the Pokemon show, at the top of your list of Pokemon to catch in the games, or on the newest piece of merchandise.

6. Piplup

Piplup 1

Piplup is one of the starting Pokémon. It is a Water-type Pokémon that most people catch as males.

Piplup looks like a penguin and is light blue, yellow, and white. It has a short beak and two white ovals on its chest, and its fur is so thick that it protects it from cold weather.

Piplup will do best against Pokémon with the Rock, Ground, and Fire types, while Grass and Electric types will beat it.

With the Torrent ability, all Water-type moves will be 50% stronger when the Pokémon only has a third of its HP left.

The waddling little penguin won’t always be cute. It will become Prinplup and then Empoleon.

5. Litleo

Litleo 1

Even though most Fire-type Pokemon are strong and scary, there are still some cute ones in this group, and Litleo is the cutest of them all.

This lion cub is one of the cutest Pokemon you can have on your team before it grows into the beautiful Pyroar.

Look at that cute little haircut!

4. Jigglypuff

Jigglypuff 1

Jigglypuff is another famous Pokémon. It is pink, puffy, and cute. Along with Pikachu, it is often seen on products.

Jigglypuff looks like a round balloon. It has pointed ears with a tuft of curls in between them, and its blue eyes are too big for its face.

The light pink Pokémon makes its opponent sleepy by being cute and being able to fill its body with air.

In Gen 1, the Pokémon was a Normal type. In Gen 6, it changed to a Normal/Fairy type, which makes it weak to Steel and Poison types but strong against Bug, Dragon, Ghost, and Dark types.

Jigglypuff comes from Igglybuff and changes into Wigglytuff when it comes into contact with a Moon Stone.

3. Cubchoo

Cubchoo

Even though it might be controversial to put the Ice-type Cubchoo above Pikachu and Mew, who can blame us?

Even the snot that comes out of its nose is cute. Like a lot of the other Pokemon on this list, Cubchoo turns into Beartic, which is one of the least cute Pokemon in the series.

But until that happens, all you will want to do is hug it.

2. Togepi

Togepi

Most fans would love to go to the Pokémon world because it is full of so many cool creatures.

For example, the cute and well-known baby Pokémon Togepi was Misty’s best friend in the first few episodes of the anime and played a key part in those episodes.

Togepi is a Normal-type Pokémon that looks like an egg. It evolves into the Flying/Fairy Togetic and the Normal-type Togekiss.

It may not be very strong, but it makes up for it in cuteness, making it one of the cutest Pokémon in the series.

Who wouldn’t want to care for and carry one of these cute babies?

1. Eevee

Eevee 1

Even though Pikachu may be the most famous Pokemon of all time, it would be wrong not to talk about how much people love little Eevee.

Eevee is a normal-type Pokémon that looks like a cat or dog. It is brown and tan all over, with fluffy tufts and a curly tail.

Its cuteness probably comes from the fact that it looks like an animal, like a cat or dog.

Fighting types are hard for Eevee to beat, but it can hold its own against Ghost types. Eevee has been around since Gen 1.

It has a unique genetic code that lets it evolve in more ways than other Pokémon.

Each of its evolutions has a different type: Vaporeon (Water), Jolteon (Electric), Flareon (Fire), Espeon (Psychic), Umbreon (Dark), Leafeon (Grass), Glaceon (Ice), and Sylveon (Fairy).
